Former Anti-Corruption Commissioner and APC Presidential Aspirant, Lawyer Ady Macauley, visited Falaba District on May 13, 2025, in a symbolic and engaging grassroots outreach effort. His visit reinforced his growing national appeal, with residents welcoming him warmly as he engaged stakeholders and shared his vision for an inclusive and prosperous Sierra Leone.

The event, attended by regional executives, constituency representatives, and local ward leaders, was marked by strong political organization and mobilization. Macauley emphasized that Sierra Leone’s development must be rooted in listening to the people, investing in rural communities, and uniting across regional and tribal lines.

His arrival in Solima Chiefdom was met with enthusiasm, with Paramount Chief Manga Salifu Samura offering traditional blessings and praising Macauley’s leadership. “This visit is not just political but culturally sacred,” PC Samura stated, calling for continued trust between leaders and citizens.

Solima Chiefdom, known for its agriculture and pastoral economy, is home to diverse communities, including the Fullah, Kuranko, Yalunka, and Madingo tribes. The engagement provided a platform for representatives across different sectors to voice their concerns and aspirations.

Dusu Bah, Women’s Leader of Falaba District, spoke about the marginalization of women and the need for greater inclusion in decision-making. She noted, “We are the backbone of our homes and communities, yet we remain left out of critical decisions. We hope this visit sparks long-awaited change.”

Similarly, Lahai Koroma, Young Congress Leader, advocated for greater opportunities in education, employment, and digital empowerment, stating, “The youth of Falaba are ready to lead if given the chance.”

In his closing remarks, Macauley reassured the people of Falaba, stating, “I did not come to make promises. I came to strengthen our relationship. What we have started here today will not end in speeches—it will continue through action and shared commitment.”

His visit—welcomed by both traditional leaders and local communities—underscored his focus on unity, grassroots engagement, and a transformative approach to national development.
