One Mobile & Ultra One Champion Youth Innovation at STEM Holiday Club

Freetown, Sierra Leone — The STEM Holiday Club returns this August for its third consecutive year, drawing over 250 students from 46 schools across Sierra Leone to the Sierra Leone Grammar School under the theme “Advancing Innovation.”

Proudly sponsored by telecom leaders One Mobile and Ultra One, the programme offers hands-on learning in cutting-edge fields including Artificial Intelligence, coding, robotics, chess, entrepreneurship, digital media, and mathematics. Students are exposed to real-world technologies and guided through interactive workshops led by industry professionals, with a strong focus on critical thinking, teamwork, and problem-solving.

Through Innovation Organised by alumni from Sierra Leone Grammar School and Annie Walsh Memorial School, the initiative blends education with technology to nurture the next generation of innovators. Equal gender participation ensures that both boys and girls benefit from the inclusive programme designed to build digital literacy and confidence.

Support from Sponsors One Mobile and Ultra One have enhanced the programme by: Providing high-speed internet for seamless learning and collaboration and supplying custom-designed T-shirts to foster unity and pride among participants.
