Air Sierra Leone has announced the resumption of its London–Freetown and London–Banjul services following approval from the UK Civil Aviation Authority (CAA).
The airline confirmed on Tuesday, August 4, 2026, that flights will officially restart at the end of October in line with the IATA Winter Season schedule. Ticket bookings are now open through the airline’s website, ticket offices, and authorised travel agents.
The carrier temporarily suspended services earlier this year due to unforeseen circumstances involving its previous aircraft provider. Management said passenger safety remained the top priority while regulatory requirements were addressed before returning to service.
“Air Sierra Leone is back stronger, better, and more committed than ever to delivering a safe, reliable, and exceptional travel experience,” the airline stated. The resumption of London operations marks a major milestone in its growth strategy and reinforces its vision of becoming the preferred carrier connecting West Africa with Europe and beyond.
The airline expressed gratitude to passengers, partners, and stakeholders for their patience and support during the suspension period, adding that it looks forward to reconnecting families, businesses, and communities as flights resume.
