The National Home-based football team of Sierra Leone will today engage the Blue Sharks of Cape Verde in Grand Stade de Marrakech from 6:00 PM (S/L) – 7:00 PM (Morocco).
Sierra Leone on Sunday won the first leg thanks to Alie Conteh with the two goals that sealed the win after putting up a brilliant performance from the Sierra Leonean team throughout the 90 minutes.
“It’s time to go again and we are ready for the return leg against Cape Verde,” says the head coach of the Home-base team Coach Zappa.
He said that a win or draw for Sierra Leone will see them to the next stage of the CHAN Qualifiers in Algeria 2023. “We are going with all our might to see that we qualify because Sierra Leone has never moved beyond this stage,” he said.
If Sierra Leone finished the job today, Wednesday, July 27, 2022 they will be facing Mali in the next stage of the qualifiers.
