Sierra Leone – March 8, 2026: The All Peoples Congress (APC) has officially announced the opening of applications for Constituency Executive positions across the country. The announcement, issued by the party’s National Secretariat, follows Section 16 of the APC Party Elections Rules and Regulations, as gazetted by the Political Parties Regulation Commission (PPRC), and is in line with the APC Constitution (2022).
According to the notice, applications can be submitted both online via the Party’s portal and manually through regional offices. Hard copies of candidature forms have already been dispatched to all Regional Chairmen for onward distribution to districts and constituencies nationwide.
Application Fees
- Constituency Chairman:
- Candidature Fee – Le500
- Application Form – Le100
- Other Constituency Executive Positions:
- Candidature Fee – Le250
- Application Form – Le50
Eligibility
Applicants must demonstrate compliance with membership subscription obligations. Article 55(f) of the APC Constitution stipulates that candidates must have been registered, paid-up members of the Party for at least two consecutive years to qualify for election as Constituency Officers.
Payment Channels
The Party emphasized that candidature fees and membership subscriptions should preferably be paid via Orange Money using the APC’s dedicated merchant code (271703). Payments can also be made through the APC account at Rokel Commercial Bank (Account Number: 1086762).
The Secretariat assured members that Orange Money transactions will be verified in real time through the Party’s digital membership platform, ensuring transparency and efficiency.
By this notice, the APC has formally informed the Political Parties Regulation Commission of the commencement of the application process.
