December 2025 – Conex Energy Sierra Leone Limited has rolled out a nationwide Christmas campaign to boost awareness and adoption of its Conex Fuel Card, positioning it as both a modern solution for fuel purchases and a unique festive gift.
Running until December 31, 2025, the campaign encourages Sierra Leoneans to embrace cashless fuel transactions by purchasing and loading the card with values equivalent to 50, 100, or 200 liters of fuel, which can then be gifted to family, friends, or loved ones.
How the Conex Fuel Card Works
The Conex Fuel Card functions like a debit card. Once loaded, customers can access petrol or diesel at any Conex station nationwide. Two types of cards are available:
- Corporate/Institutional cards for businesses and government agencies.
- Individual cards for personal use, which are the main focus of this festive campaign.
Speaking at the launch, Ismaila Conteh, Network Manager at Conex Energy Sierra Leone Ltd, said the initiative reflects the transformation of Sierra Leone’s fuel sector.
“As the world is moving cashless, the Conex Fuel Card provides a safer and more transparent way of managing fuel expenses,” Conteh noted.
He added that Conex is modernizing fuel access through strengthened safety standards, improved outlets, and customer-friendly innovations.
Christmas Promotion Details
To participate in the campaign, customers can:
- Visit any Conex station nationwide.
- Purchase a Fuel Card for 65 Leones.
- Top up with their desired fuel amount.
- Use the card anytime without cash, receiving a receipt for every transaction to ensure transparency.
The Fuel Card has already been widely adopted by businesses and government institutions for fuel distribution and transport management. With zero maintenance charges and nationwide accessibility, Conex believes the Christmas campaign will encourage more individuals to enjoy the convenience, accountability, and ease the system offers.
Conex’s Marketing Department confirmed that the card will be heavily promoted throughout the festive season to maximize participation and ensure customers understand its benefits.
As Sierra Leone continues to embrace digital and cashless solutions, Conex sees the Fuel Card as a vital step in modernizing fuel transactions and enhancing customer experience across the country.
