Bo, Sierra Leone – In a significant move to enhance fuel accessibility and boost infrastructure, Conex Limited Sierra Leone inaugurated a new fuel station along the Bo-Kenema Highway on May 21, 2025.
The ceremony was attended by a diverse group of dignitaries, including the Mayor of Bo City, Harold Logie, the local Paramount Chief, religious leaders, women’s leaders, and representatives from key organizations such as the traders’ union and bike riders’ union.
The newly launched facility marks Conex’s 41st fuel station nationwide, reinforcing its commitment to supporting Sierra Leone’s economic growth and ensuring reliable fuel supply. With existing branches in Makeni, Kenema, and now Bo-Kenema Highway, Conex continues to solidify its role in the country’s energy sector.
Addressing attendees, Avrajit Kar, Managing Director of Conex Energy Sierra Leone Limited, reiterated the company’s dedication to providing high-quality fuel in sufficient quantities to meet increasing consumer demand.
Mayor Logie commended Conex for its investment in the region, emphasizing the positive economic impact such infrastructure projects have on local communities and the nation as a whole.
The event concluded with a vote of thanks from Conex management, expressing appreciation to attendees and reaffirming their commitment to Sierra Leone’s development through continued investment in essential sectors.
The newly inaugurated station is expected to alleviate fuel shortages, improve transportation efficiency, and contribute to the overall economic advancement of the Bo-Kenema corridor and beyond.
