This event not only signifies a significant achievement for the company but also ushers in a transformative era for education in the Pepel community.

At the gathering, Alhaji Mohamed Turay, the Community and Security Manager Kingho Railway and Ports (KRP), emphasized the historic significance of the moment, highlighting the establishment of the first-ever examination centre in the entire Pepel community. He reiterated the LRMG’s dedication to community development, citing past initiatives such as school rehabilitations, hospital constructions, and scholarships awarded to deserving NPSE students.

The Principal of Ahmadiyya Secondary School S.M. Conteh, expressed heartfelt gratitude to Leone Rock Metal Group for their timely intervention following persistent appeals to the relevant authorities for the establishment of an examination centre. He conveyed assurance to the company that the newly constructed building will be utilized for its designated purpose.

Addressing the audience, Charlie Chen, the General Manager KRP, underscored the crucial role of education in societal progress and youth development. He reaffirmed LRMG’s commitment to supporting the President’s transformative vision for education. Mr. Chen highlighted that the project, fully funded by the company, serves as a tribute to Mohamed Sesay, a student who tragically lost his life while journeying to Loko Masama for exams due to the absence of an examination centre at his school.
