Sierra Leone – January 7, 2026: The Office of the Administrator and Registrar General (OARG) has announced the successful completion of all registrable instruments processed during the 2025 calendar year, in line with the Registration of Instruments Act (Cap 256 of the Laws of Sierra Leone) and other applicable regulations.
According to a public notice issued by the Office, the records cover statutory instruments handled between January 1 and December 31, 2025, across both the Freetown headquarters and regional offices nationwide.
The documented data includes conveyances and title deeds, marriages, intellectual property, estates, and other statutory records legally required to be processed by the OARG. Officials emphasized that all records have been properly documented and preserved to ensure accuracy, transparency, and accessibility for administrative, legal, and public reference purposes.
Members of the public seeking to verify records, request certified copies, make corrections, or obtain additional information relating to the 2025 registrations have been advised to visit the OARG during official working hours. Applicants are encouraged to follow the prescribed procedures applicable to their specific requests.
The notice further confirmed that a complete compilation of all instruments processed and registered during the year has been prepared, covering both the Freetown office and regional branches.
