*Dubai, United Arab Emirates, 31 January 2026* – His Excellency President Julius Maada Bio has arrived in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, to participate in the upcoming World Governments Summit scheduled from 3 to 5 February 2026.
This year’s Summit, themed “Shaping Future Governments,” aims to explore a new era of governance by leveraging innovation and technology to address global challenges facing humanity.
Since its inception, the Summit has set a precedent for international cooperation, empowering the next generation of governments through collaborative efforts.
President Bio’s attendance follows an invitation from His Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE. During his stay, the President is slated to engage in multiple bilateral meetings and join a high-level session alongside fellow heads of state.
His participation underscores the growing international recognition of Sierra Leone’s significant progress in governance under his leadership. President Bio will be among numerous heads of state and global leaders attending the event.
