Sierra Leone and The Gambia Masonic Delegation Joins Namibia Centenary Celebration

Windhoek, Namibia – A distinguished delegation from the District Grand Lodges of Sierra Leone and The Gambia joined brethren from across the globe to mark the One Hundredth Anniversary of the English Constitution District Grand Lodge of Namibia and Damaraland Lodge No. 4758 E.C.

The commemorative events culminated in a grand banquet at the Stellenbosch Wine Bar & Bistro in Windhoek, where fraternity, fellowship, and tradition were celebrated in honour of a century of Masonic labour and service.

Representing Sierra Leone and The Gambia were the District Grand Master of the District Grand Lodge of Sierra Leone and The Gambia (English Constitution), the Deputy District Grand Master of the District Grand Lodge of Sierra Leone and The Gambia (Scottish Constitution), and the Worshipful Master of the District Grand Stewards Lodge No. 10087. Their presence underscored the strong fraternal ties between the Districts and Constitutions.

They were joined by several distinguished Grand Lodge and District Grand Lodge Officers, whose attendance highlighted the spirit of unity and cooperation that continues to strengthen the bonds of Freemasonry across borders and jurisdictions.

The centenary celebration provided an opportunity to reflect on the rich history and achievements of the District Grand Lodge of Namibia and Damaraland Lodge No. 4758 E.C., while reaffirming the enduring values of Brotherly Love, Relief, and Truth. Brethren celebrated not only the past century of Masonic service but also looked forward with confidence to the continued growth and prosperity of the Craft.

The participation of Sierra Leone and The Gambia’s delegation served as a fitting tribute to this historic occasion, exemplifying the universal brotherhood that remains the cornerstone of Freemasonry.
