The Sierra Leone Premier League Board has in a media statement it put out on Wednesday 7th of September 2022 informed premier league clubs in Sierra Leone that player registrations for the 2022/2023 league season commenced on the 7th of September 2022 and will end on the 6th October 2022 at 5: 00 pm-Monday. The Sierra Leone Football Association also informed the clubs that after the closing period for registration, the Board will publish the list of registered players submitted by the clubs, and a two-week period following the publication will be given corrections, confirmations and protests in order to settle any issues or concerns arising from the player registration before the commencement of the league.
