Kenema, Sierra Leone – January 16, 2026: Vice President of the Republic of Sierra Leone, Dr. Mohamed Juldeh Jalloh, has urged members of the Sierra Leone People’s Party (SLPP) to embrace unity and reconciliation during a recent visit to Kenema.

The visit came in the aftermath of lower-level elections that left some party supporters feeling excluded. Addressing stakeholders and members, Dr. Jalloh emphasized that within the SLPP, “no one is a loser, everyone is a winner,” stressing the importance of working together toward shared goals.

His message of inclusivity was warmly received, with party members encouraged to put aside differences and focus on presenting a united front ahead of the 2028 national elections, which will include presidential, parliamentary, and local council polls.

Dr. Jalloh reiterated his commitment to the party’s values and principles, highlighting the need to foster a sense of belonging for all members regardless of their electoral outcomes. He underscored that unity is essential not only for the SLPP’s success but also for Sierra Leone’s broader development agenda.
