Freetown, August 27, 2026: Vice President of Sierra Leone, Dr. Mohamed Juldeh Jalloh, on Thursday chaired a meeting of the Sierra Leone Police Executive Management Board at the Office of the Vice President’s Conference Room.
The session brought together senior police officers to review governance, security, and operational matters affecting the Force, with emphasis on ongoing reforms and strengthening institutional effectiveness.
In his capacity as Chairman of the Sierra Leone Police Council, Vice President Jalloh underscored the importance of direct engagement with police leadership nationwide. He noted that such interactions provide valuable insight into the progress, challenges, and priorities of police reform.
“Today, I chaired a meeting of the Sierra Leone Police Executive Management Board, where we discussed key governance, security, and operational issues affecting the Force. It is always refreshing to hear firsthand from senior officers across the country on police reform,” the Vice President stated.
The meeting forms part of government’s broader efforts to modernize the Sierra Leone Police and enhance its role in safeguarding national security and democratic governance.
